Yesterday evening I met up with my friend Leigh. If there were ever a person whose style I’d just like to go ahead and 100% steal, it’s hers — my lord is her apartment gorgeous!
After years of dabbling, Leigh is officially starting up her floral business this year, and goodness she is wonderful at it. She recently did all the flowers for a styled shoot I photographed (which I’ll get to share this Thursday, finally!), and she has such great attention to detail. Her use of color and texture without sacrificing the beauty of simplicity is admirable, and results in some stunning details. Not surprisingly, Leigh is also a very talented designer, and has put together some precious wedding suites. When she asked me last week if I’d be willing to photograph the details from a Palm Springs wedding she did two seasons ago (but of which she had no pictures!), I couldn’t say yes fast enough.
And she did not disappoint! Leigh had so many amazing props in her house to use as decoration, and I think we managed to reflect quite well the sort of warmed-up-rustic-desert feeling we were going for.
I could not more highly recommend Leigh. She is sweet, hard-working, and unbelievably gifted. Enjoy. :)
